Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment
Mahiri is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards across our website and products.
Conformance Standards
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Technical Approach
- Semantic HTML5 elements throughout for logical document structure
- ARIA labels and roles where required to supplement native semantics
- Fully keyboard-navigable interface — no mouse required
- Color contrast ratios meeting or exceeding WCAG 2.1 AA standards (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
- Text alternatives (
altattributes) for all non-decorative images - Responsive design tested with leading screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver, JAWS)
- No content that flashes more than three times per second
- Skip-to-content links provided for keyboard and assistive technology users
Known Limitations
While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, some areas may not yet fully meet the guidelines. We are actively working to identify and resolve accessibility issues as they are discovered. Third-party embedded content may not always meet the same accessibility standards.
Assistive Technologies
This website has been designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
- Screen readers (VoiceOver on macOS/iOS, NVDA and JAWS on Windows)
- Browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
- High contrast mode
- Keyboard-only navigation
